Right now is a great time to plant a tree!  We have had consistent rains all year long, and temperatures are starting to cool.  These are excellent conditions for root growth.

We have a huge selection of Maples, Oaks, Dawn Redwood, Lindens, Quaking Aspen, Tupelo, Beech, Fringe Tree, Redbuds, Dogwoods, Stewartia, Pears, Apples, Yellowwood, Golden Raintree, Spruces, Pines, Fir, and many more.  Check out www.bluerivernursery.com for an extensive catalog of plants.  If you do not find what you are looking for, just ask us, we may have it.  We are constantly adding new plants to grow.

If you need your trees planted, we offer planting and delivery services.  If you want to plant your own, we have a planting and care guide we recommend you read.  We also have a ‘How to Plant’ video on Youtube that complements the guide well.  If you live in an exotic location such as Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Columbus, we can often deliver our larger size trees to you.

It’s hard to calculate the value of what you can get from a tree.  There is a book out there named The Giving Tree, by Shel Silverstein.  I always liked that book.  It is a wonderful story that shows many reasons a tree is special.
