Katsura Tree is a quick growing shade tree. This tree has heart shaped leaves that change from translucent bronze in spring to summer blueish- green, to yellow and apricot-orange in autumn. Cercidiphyllum japonicum gains shaggy bark as the tree matures. When young have a pyramidal shape, but as they mature form a rounded shape for great shade.
