The Korean Maple is an excellent substitute for the Japanese Maple in gardens in Zone 4. This tree is sightly larger with a more upright branching habit than the Japanese Maple. Leaves are green during spring and summer, turning every beautiful shade of red to orange imaginable in the fall. This is a wonderful tree to plant off the corner of the house to soften the contour. Native to Korea.
