The Korean Maple is an excellent substitute for the Japanese Maple in gardens in Zone 4. Plant is slightly larger with a more upright branching habit than the Japanese Maple. Leaves are green during spring and summer turning every beautiful shade of red to orange imaginable in the fall. This is an excellent tree to plant off the corner of the house to soften corners and other hard features. Native to Korea.
