Ed Wood Maple has excellent fall colors of yellow, orange, and red. It is a vigorous grower and the leaves (which are almost as big as your head) are much larger than the others of the same species. Acer japonicum 'Ed Wood' has large, fan-like, cutleaf foliage and curving branches give a tropical feel to landscape plantings.
