Picea Pungens 'Blue Totem' is a better cultivar than 'Fastigiata'. Branches are held tighter to the trunk and do not separate from the body of the plant like fastigiata. Plant has strict columnar shape. Needles are possibly a bit bluer than fastigiata. The name is much more appealing. All plants should be named well! Looks great with Pinus Banksiana 'Schoodic' and 'Motherlode' Juniper. Excellent plant for tight spots. Rare plant!
