We’re Excited to Be Open!

Come check out our new shipment of evergreens, we have lots of cool spruces and pines.

For a blast of blue, see these gorgeous trees: ‘Berkshire Blue’ Fir, and ‘Yukon Blue’ and ‘Arctos’ Spruces. ‘Boulevard’ False Cypress may have the softest foliage of any plant we grow, with icy blue and white swirled fans; and the ground covering ‘Glauca’ Fir and ‘Procumbens’ Spruce, fantastic on a hillside, draped over a wall, or curling around a boulder.

And what looks great with blue? Yellow! Come out and look at ‘Gold Medal’ Scot’s Pine; ‘Mac’s Gold’, ‘Firefly’, and ‘Gold Drift’ Spruces; and ‘Aurea’ Fir. Wow!

We have a nice variety of miniatures too. These add a perfect spot of winter color to a flower bed or along your foundation. Like Spruces? Some of our favorites are ‘Jasper’, ‘Pusch’, and ‘Ruby Teardrops’. Want Pines? ‘Columnaris’ has a narrow upright shape; ‘Jakobsen’ is open and boldly branched; ‘Valley Cushion’ looks like a super cute little pillow. Tiny can make a mighty statement!

What’s blooming right now? Well, Hellebores are! Called Lenten Roses because they flower during Lent, we’ve got ‘Onyx Odyssey’, ‘Pink Parachutes’, ‘Cotton Candy’, ‘Mango Magic’, ‘Red Sapphire’, and ‘Berry Swirl’. Visit our Greenhouse #2 to see them all today.

And even better than its name is the Witch Hazel. We have ‘Arnold Promise’ and ‘Jelena’, the best winter flowering shrubs ever! They look like millions of crinkled little yellow or orange butterflies are perched up and down the branches. Spring is certainly on its way.
